Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, and chia seeds. Stir well to mix.
Add the diced apple, caramel sauce, maple syrup (if using), ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the oat mixture. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
Divide the mixture evenly among two jars or containers with lids.
Close the jars tightly and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4-6 hours) to allow the oats to soak.
In the morning, give the oats a good stir. If desired, add a splash of milk to loosen the mixture.
Top with additional caramel sauce, chopped pecans or walnuts, and a sprinkle of cinnamon before serving.
Notes
Serve the oats in clear jars to showcase the beautiful layers of apple and caramel. Drizzle extra caramel on top and garnish with a slice of apple for a delightful touch!
