In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Mix until smooth and creamy. This will create the spiced butter blend.
In a saucepan, heat the water over low heat until warm but not boiling.
Add 1 tablespoon of the spiced butter blend to each mug. Pour in 1 cup of warm water and stir until the butter melts and is well combined.
Top each mug with a dollop of whipped cream.
