Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Extra salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet for the wings to sit on. This will help them crisp up.

In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Toss well to ensure the wings are evenly coated.

Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack, making sure they’re not touching each other for optimal crispiness.

Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Flip the wings halfway through the cooking time for even cooking.

While the wings are baking, prepare the garlic Parmesan sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.

Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Pour the garlic Parmesan sauce over the wings and toss until they are thoroughly coated.

Return the coated wings back to the wire rack and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes to allow the sauce to set and the edges to get extra crispy.

Remove from the oven, give them a final sprinkle of salt and pepper if desired, and serve immediately.
