1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, minced garlic, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Toss until the sprouts are well coated.

      Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

        Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

          Remove the tray from the oven, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the sprouts, and toss lightly to combine.

            Return to the oven and roast for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the sprouts are tender and golden brown and the cheese is melted and slightly crispy.

              Once done, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.

                Garnish the Brussels sprouts with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
